Who pays the IHS
Most applications £1,035 / year
Students, student dependants, Youth Mobility, under-18s £776 / year

You usually pay the IHS if you apply for more than 6 months outside the UK or for any length inside the UK. You do not pay for visitor visas or ILR, and some routes (including Health and Care) are exempt. Always confirm on GOV.UK.
